Pictures of Alisa and her orphanage

  1. I love how clean and bright the orphanage appears. The paintings on the wall are so sweet. I think you are tired, Elena was tired and she looks quite a bit different from her pictures--that can make for slow bonding. I bet it will come with time. ;-) Hugs!

  3. Oh she is beautiful!!!! I am praying specifically that at your next meeting she will be more herself...and that the bonding will begin. I know that lack of sleep really affected me on our trip...it was hard, tell your husband he needs to sleep too!!!

I just think she is beautiful and am very interested and saddened that there are sooooo many blessings there that have no hope unless adopted. Praying that you and your husband will begin to break the walls down and that His light will shine through you.

We love pictures so post more when you can!!!!

  5. Elena is precious. She looks so sad; I'm so happy that you are bringing her home. I love the picture with her arms around you.
